How to Grow your Employability

Here is a little taste of what employers look for and how by following these few steps, can boost your individual employability. 

Step 1: Resume Reconstruction

Resumes are all about memorability. What makes you stand out? What makes you you? Once established, always cater your resume to the jobs you are interested in/have applied for. This displays relevance and initiative to possible employers. Discover various templates available via subscription  or emailing us.

Step 2: Seek External Advice

It is important to have an external eye review your resume, as this provides a different perspective. May it be a friend, partner or relative, have them review it using an objective mindset. This will allow you receive constructive criticisms in order for improvement.

Step 3: Effective Job Search

An effective job search is conducted through actively searching for jobs in your chosen industry. Research the available companies and apply for the jobs that you know, you have the right skill set for, to improve your chance of progression. Don't be intimidated, you can do more than you think! Step 4: Interview Prep

Research! Relax! Be Yourself! The interview process is usually viewed as the most daunting, but it shouldn't be. Research the company before your meeting, and bring a small notebook with you to jot down comments and questions, that will  support you during your meeting.

Be yourself and relax! It is so much easier to remember awesome things about yourself that actually happened instead of overselling a rehearsed version of yourself! Use personal and professional experiences to describe your skill sets.
